Ladies and gentlemen, we interrupted our scheduled radio program for a very important message. Our special correspondent is currently located in the Central city courtroom, where the most scandal and highly speculated criminal case is being deliberated. Let me remind you that we are tracing the final stages of the process that for the last couple of months attracted unparalleled attention of near all residents of our small town. Alex T. Wolf is accused of murdering two innocent pigs, brothers Danny and Rubby, and attempted murder their third brother Vinny, who magically escaped the tragedy. Today the legal process goes to an end. Prosecution side seems like the winners of the case, while all attempts of defendant’s attorneys to prove his innocence seemingly have not convinced the jury. So, ladies and gentlemen, right now the judge will let the defendant Alex T. Wolf address the jury his final words. Will he be able to convince them of his innocence? Well, it sounds unrealistically, but he definitely has the last chance to do so. Otherwise, he will be most probably sentenced to death for the second degree murder of two little pigs, residents of our lovely peaceful town. Right now I turn off my microphone so you will be able to hear the Wolf, as he already began his speech…
“Your honor judge, dear jury, fellow residents… I have been spending every minute since the day of that tragic incident that shaken up our peaceful town, continuously thinking why… Why it happened? Why it happened to me? Why it happened to my friends Danny and Rubby. Yes, do not be surprised, they were my friend, and I loved them. I visited their lovely houses many times, as well as they were always dear guests at my home. Our kids attended the same karate club and I remember as vivid as if it was only yesterday how they were coming home together dressed in kimono after the training session… It is very sad, ladies and gentlemen…Sad and tragic… Now I am trying to remind the smallest episodes of that horrible night, and I must confess that I am the only reason that Rubby and Danny are no longer with us, but at the same time… I am not guilty. To understand that controversy I pledge you for only one minute to turn to be a Wolf, in your imagination of course... Well, I realize this is hard, especially if you are a goose, cow or rabbit, like most of the present jury members. But, please, try even if it sounds mad, because otherwise the decision you are going to make tonight will not be as accurate as it should be. And I am afraid that it will be far from what we are all looking for – justice!
So, my dear friends … do you know what it means to be a Wolf? It means a constant fight with yourself. Unfortunately our society is not perfect and wolfs nowadays have to neighbor with their potential food. Sorry, for being not politcorrect, but you heard me right, I live very miserable life, every day masking what kind of person I actually am. It demands huge mental and physical efforts. Believe me, it is very hard to be a Wolf in our Pig’s world. But I got used to live that way, and everything went well up until that tragic day… I could not control my drives, a predator, a monster that was sleeping inside of me, woke suddenly up. Yes, I ate Ruby and Danny, but it was not actually me…It was my darkest and evil part, which I was not able to control for only half an hour... Yes I ate Rubby and Danny and scared to death Vinny, but I am not guilty!
Ladies and gentlemen, to conclude, I would like to question every and each of you: Will you be well with yourself after sending a Wolf to the electric chair, realizing that the only crime he committed was to be born a Wolf? God bless you, and let justice be done!”
We are going to commercial break.

Indeed, how we can judge the Wolf for being born predator. Alex, I found your story very catching since you left emotionally-told denouement to the very end. You managed to keep a reader in suspense. It has strengthened my emotional perceptions as well as sparked the interest. Well done!
